Boatshed Royalties:
Each Boatshed business charges a maximum commission rate of between 8-10% of the selling price of each boat. The Boatshed royalties are paid on sales commission achieved.

Hosting:
Midland Computers Ltd are under exclusive contract to supply hosting for all Boatshed.com websites.
Your monthly fee covers the following:

• Bandwidth - variable to deal with increase loads and activity
• Hosting charges for the Boatshed servers (comprising of climate control, power backup, electricity charge, connectivity diversity).
• Backup management of system and tape rotation
• Full server management, log monitoring, server software updates (web server, PHP, MySQL, image handlers etc).
• Support to handling of outages for software and hardware 24/7/365.
• Automated alert monitoring. Email hosting including Anti Virus, Spam cleansing and webmail.

• Full domain name and DNS management
• External Feed monitoring and management to external boat listing systems.
  

Territory:
Each Boatshed business has an exclusive territory and has the exclusive rights to list any boats within this area.

Training:
3 days Initial Brokerage training: focusing on, Boatshed Technology, Systems and Processes, Boatshed Yacht Brokerage procedures, methods.

Targets/KPI's/MPR:
We constantly monitor each Boatshed business to make sure it is reaching sensible monthly targets, this ensures continuing success in each territory.

MPR: Minimum Performance Requirement:
Boatshed is a business about selling boats. We set Sales Targets for all of our offices to achieve depending on territory size, boat types and current competition in each area. The MPR figure relates to a minimum amount sent to Boatshed.com for royalties. We expect all of our offices to achieve levels much higher than the MPR.

The MPR enables Boatshed.com to continue to develop new systems and technology and to make sure that all Boatshed Offices are focused only on selling boats.
Extra Brands: 
Boatshed can offer the facility for you to operate multiple brands within your territory. These can be very useful to partner with existing marine businesses or operations. Our new white label website solutions mean you can offer brokerage services to existing businesses.
