The Boatshed support can teach a lot about the general business of selling a boat, but you will be in charge of your local area, with its local players and possibly with its local laws and customs. You need to study these thoroughly so that customers get the feeling that you are an expert not just regarding the boat they want to buy or sell, but also regarding general boating know-how. What plans do you have for the future? Build up further the business in and around Barcelona. To get a foothold in the market of superyachts and megayachts. What new things are happening in your business at present? Just started working with an agent who will develop the northernmost part of the territory. Where do you see your business in two years time? Boatshed Barcelona is becoming a broker of reference in the area. Hopefully in 2 years time, the territory will be worked by 3 or 4 agents alongside of me. Do you have any useful tips to help other Boatshed Brokers? Concentrate on your area, which should not be too big. Stay in touch with the owners. |
