Historic data 
In the past 10 years we have amassed a huge amount of historical data about boats, not just how much they sell for but information on designers, builders, dimensions, layouts and condition all of which is available to you with a few mouse clicks to enable you to accurately value any boat. Viewing data to see the full set of pictures for any boat on Boatshed a customer needs to log in, this allows us to track what they view and so quickly allow you to assess the quality of leads and to put the right boats in front of the right people. All this data is a huge resource available to all new businesses. 

Training 
At Boatshed we know just how daunting starting up your own business can be so we give you a really good head start with an initial, intensive 3 day training course designed to give you all the basics you need to know to get started.  We don’t just include the nitty gritty of brokerage and a quick lesson on how to use our software, because we’ve all run Boatshed businesses ourselves we provide information on how to sell your services, who to go and see and how to develop your business.  We also have annual conferences which are a great networking event but also include an educational element so everyone can keep learning.

Support 
The beauty of the Boatshed group is that everyone who joins has the benefit of a huge organisation behind them from day 1.  We have an online manual so you can look things up whenever you need to, a broker forum so you can swap ideas and seek advice, plus a 7 day a week Web and telephone support service for when you need to talk to someone. We also arrange regular business reviews where we spend a day with each Business owner, meaning we really get to grips with what’s going on.

Our branding is really strong, we love it and want to keep it that way so we have our own team who provide all the artwork for all the promotional graphics you'll need to make sure that every Boatshed wherever they are in the world still looks fabulous. A dedicated promo site for you to order clothing, promotional literature, vehicle and brokerage signage, banners and marketing graphics.

Business development 
Boatshed is dynamic business which is continually evolving.  We’ve also created a range of business development options so each office can tailor their growth.  These include an agent and broker system, the option to create “white label operations” and a facility to auction boats but it won’t stop there.  The HQ team are always working on new ideas, which we test, trial and perfect so you can reap the benefits.

Co-operation between offices  
Boatshed is a successful organisation, but each office is also an independent business. Individualism is our one of strengths but we have also devised systems to encourage co-operation. An annual conference where Brokers are encouraged to attend to share best practices, listen to informed speakers in the industry, socialise and build relationships with other Boatshed Brokers. 
Listings, Leads and Tasks can be transferred or shared between offices, with a potential share of commission once the sale completes. This is all managed by our online systems so that their is full transparency if you choose to collaborate with other offices.
