Boatshed.com Yacht Brokerage Group was set up by Husband and wife team Neil and Mandy Chapman back in 1999.
It all started as a result of taking a sabbatical in 1998 for 10 months. During the trip they were rolled 360 in Storm 10, involved in a complex salvage claim, cruised Portugal, Denmark then headed back to England to their jobs.
Back at their jobs they decided they would set up their own business doing something with boats. Neil's background was a Hotel & Leisure family company and Mandy was a Graphic designer for a major high street brand. Within a couple of months they had started a yacht Brokerage company in Milford Haven, set up the Boatshed website and sold 118 boats within the first year.

Using their knowledge of design and customer service they invested heavily in the business systems and advanced computer software to create the Boatshed boat sales system. Along with a team of talented and committed individuals they have continued to develop the Boatshed business. This has become the largest Yacht Brokerage Company in the World.
